The Role

You will head up the companies busy Land department, reporting in to the Managing Director and sitting on the board of Directors.

Aside from training, developing and motivating your team, you will also be required to lead from the front and secure various opportunities for the business in both immediate and strategic land. This involves identification, appraisals, negotiation and purchase of land, as well as working closely with the other parts of the business.

There is also a very real opportunity to get involved in various partnerships that will benefit the business in the long term – these can be strategic JV’s on particular projects to unlock land, or even with investment vehicles to reduce risk.

The Candidate

This business is looking for somebody with energy, drive, and passion to head up their Land department. They are looking for somebody who is pro-active, not reactive, who can drive development through the front-end.

Ideally they are looking for somebody with local knowledge and an extensive network of land owners, and agents but re locators will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

They are looking for somebody who can really direct, and contribute to the running of the region and business. Somebody who will search for cost-saving, efficiency, and anything that can benefit the business is ideal – they want somebody who is going to add genuine value to the regional board
