we are working with a leading global real estate consultancy who are looking to appoint a senior figurehead, Associate Director or Director, to assist in the leadership and growth of a thriving  Business Rates team. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Business Rates professional to take the next step in their career within on the UK’s most prestigious and successful Business rates teams.

The role:

• Working in the well-established rating team responsible for blue-chip client base providing business rates advice.
• Specialist advice on rating valuation appeals, rates reliefs and rates management.
• Creating long-term business relationships to add value for an established client list.
• Generating new business for the department through networking.

Requirements:

• MRICS with 5 + years’ PQE.
• Strong track record in Rating work with knowledge in relevant legislation and case law.
• Commercially aware and experience in valuing a range of property types.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients face to face and on the phone.
• Well-presented with first class negotiation skills.
• Able to deliver client presentations, with attention to detail.
• Computer literate with excellent organisation skills.
• Good networking skills with both external clients and internal stakeholders.
