Our client is a residential development consultancy based in Manchester. They require a surveyor with a background in valuation or/and land assembly to join their busy development team. The role will encompass negotiating section 106 agreements, social housing ratios in order to make the prospective schemes work for all parties. Though this is absolutely not essential as applications from valuation surveyors will be welcomed, previous experience in dealing with local planning depts/councils, would be beneficial. A key factor will be your ability to negotiate the best ‘deal’ for clients, which are small to large scale housing developers. The individual will be numerically astute and have the drive and ambition to join a niche consultancy who work for blue chip clients/house builders.
